Beulah Keel Best

Beulah Mae Keel Best was born on June 2, 1945, at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville, North Carolina, to the late Lessie Griffin and the late Alec Griffin. In the early morning hours of May 11, 2026, her gentle spirit entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, located at 2872 Sidney Cherry Road, Clarendon, North Carolina.

She leaves to forever cherish her precious memory: her son, Johnny Allen Keel (Diane Keel) of Greensboro, North Carolina; her daughters, Daphne Lynn Keel and Rochelle Keel Jones (Anthony Jones Jr.) of Greensboro, North Carolina; her grandson, Christopher J. Keel; great-grandsons, Christian Carrington-Keel, Kayden Antonio Keel, Aiden Leon McNair, and Cayden McNair; granddaughters, Bonita S. Keel, Devona M. Keel, Destiny M. Keel, Emily R. Keel, and Ebony N. Keel; great-granddaughters, Nylia A. McNair, Isabella Keel, and Faith Keel; sisters, Hazel Ann Thomas, Ann Williams, and Jeanette Wilder; brothers, Ellic Griffin, Thomas C. Griffin, and Sylvester Griffin; along with a host of loving relatives, treasured friends, and all whose lives were touched by her warmth and kindness.
