Cora Lee Burch

Cora Lee Burch, of Chadbourn, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her granddaughter’s residence, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of D&A Funeral Services, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn. Additional visitation will take place at the church following the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Jerusalem Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 6424 Chadbourn Highway, Chadbourn, North Carolina, with Pastor Eric McCullum officiating and Bishop Frederick Murray delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Belvue Cemetery on Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn, North Carolina.

She is survived by three children: two daughters, Eloise McBride and Veronica Snowten, and one son, Velt Hardie; a special granddaughter, Lisa McBride; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
