January 18, 1951 — June 5, 2022
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at St. Mary's Baptist Church, 17798 Old U.S. 74, Evergreen, NC 28438 with Dr. Nathaniel Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Community Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, at D&A Funeral Services Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, NC 28431.
Deloris leaves to cherish her legacy of love and memories to a special son James (Kelly) Lucas. Two sisters Margaret (Ann) Lucas of Chadbourn and Rhonda McCallum of Lumberton. Three special caregivers Barbara (Kitt) Register of Hallsboro, Jeffery Odum of Lumberton, and Ronnie Smith of Whiteville. A special sister Jackie Williamson of Chadbourn and one special sister-in-law Mary Dawson of Evergreen. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
