Ina Bracy Siler

Mrs. Ina Bracy Siler, age 93 of New York formerly of Chadbourn, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Brooklyn, New York.  

Ina was born on November 27, 1929, to the late Lester and Myrtle McBride Bracy.  

Ina was a graduate of Chadbourn Negro High School.  As a long-time resident of New York, she retired from the New York Parks and Recreation Department.  

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Belvue Cemetery 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn.

Ina is survived by her nieces and nephews, Vivian K. Barrett of Greensboro, North Carolina, Myrtle Barrett Soloman (Joe, Sr.) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Rita D. Barrett of Charlotte, North Carolina, Eddie O. Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Dr. Walter W. Barrett of Trenton, New Jersey; cousins, Kathleen Smith of Brooklyn, New York, Frances Marino of Orlando, Florida, and Celestine Evans of Durham, North Carolina.  In addition, she is survived by other great-nieces, great-nephews, and relatives who loved her dearly.
