Ms. Mildred Kelly, affectionately known as “Duck,” 86, departed this life on February 22, 2026, at her residence, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the love she so freely shared with those around her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of D & A Funeral Services, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, North Carolina, 28431.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Zion Wall Free Will Baptist Church, 413 W Institute St, Chadbourn, North Carolina, 28431. A burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery on Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn, North Carolina, 28431.
