Mrs. Minnie Katie Collins, affectionately known as "Katie Ree," age 77, of Whiteville, passed away on Friday, June 19, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was the daughter of the late David and Mable Faulk.
A viewing will be held at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service and will resume immediately following the service. Funeral services will be held at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Belvue Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Marcella Faulk; two sisters, Mary Faulk and Rachel Ann Faulk; one brother, Danny Lee Faulk; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
