Thay Lee Smith

Ms. Thay Lee Smith, affectionately known as “Skeeter,” of Chadbourn, passed away on Saturday, December 13, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Darryl Smith, Thomas Brown, Anthony Brown, and Kashein Brown; two sisters, Greta Hamer and Bonita Hamer; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
