As a charter member of ROCAME, Mr. Walls always provided support & insight in building the organization with the support of industry, education, and the community. His leadership & influence was appreciated by all of us working to support minority students in engineering. I particularly remember those early meetings with the schools & community introducing the idea. His influence in Chadborne & Whiteville City School district was unwavering. My sincere condolences to his family and all students that he touched over the years.

Delbert Horton, retired DuPont, charter president ROCAME.
