James Lee McDuffie

James Lee McDuffie 64, of Chadbourn passed on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Shoreland Health Care & Ret Center in Whiteville.

James was born on October 26, 1959 in Darlington, South Carolina the son of Roosevelt McDuffie and Mildred McDuffie.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Zion Wall Free Will Baptist Church, 413 W Institute St, Chadbourn, where Reverend Wendell Gore will officiate. James will be laid to rest in Belvue Cemetery, located at 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn, N.C.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a viewing, which will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at D&A Funeral Services Chapel, located at 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, NC.

James is survived by two uncles, Samuel McDuffie and Bernard McDuffie, and two aunts, Barbara Freeman and Ida Jane McDuffie. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
